Kylie Thompson

Kylie graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Business (Double Major in Accounting & Finance) in 1991. Following ten years honing her skills working with public accounting practices and gaining her Certified Practising Accountant qualification, Kylie opened her own firm in 1998. Kylie’s practice has grown steadily and most importantly on her own terms, ensuring the unique style of personalised service her clients have grown to respect is maintained at every point of client contact.

Kylie also holds a Diploma in Financial Services and is one of a minority of Australian accounts to also be a qualified specialist Self-Managed Super Fund advisor (RG146 designation) as per federal government regulations introduced in 2016.

Chantelle Izzo 

Kylie is delighted to welcome Chantelle to the Sorrento Strategic team. Chantelle comes to the practice with 5 years’ experience in accountancy firms.

Working closely with Kylie and the accountancy team, Chantelle ensures the office runs like clockwork whilst offering clients an outstanding level of prompt and professional customer service.

Christine Thomas

With an extensive background working in various banking and accounting practice roles, Christine joined Kylie in 2004 assisting as the practice’s client base steadily grew.

Calm under pressure and with a keen eye for those all- important deadlines, Christine’s thorough understanding of Xero, MYOB and Quicken Intuit platforms has also enabled her to provide direct, ongoing bookkeeping services for several Sorrento Strategic clients.

Mary-Anne Wickham

Mary-Anne has joined Sorrento Strategic in the role of Business Development Manager, assisting Kylie with the expansion of the financial planning (Sorrento Strategic Solutions) and specialised musicians’ accountancy (Sorrento Strategic Music) divisions.
